...And a duped Town of Truckee which gave 'MTV crews' permission to film.
Check.
The Jackass has landed.
Jeff Tremaine (Jackass OG director/producer) brought the whole original crew to the Basin this week (could it be b/c the side projects worked out about as well as Knoxville's marriage and they couldn't resist ca$hing in for the trilogy?!) filming for the third installment of hipster prankster series that has, to date, grossed almost a half-billion in box office and DVD sales world-wide.
Rumors the crew hit Northstar (Friday) and plans to do the unthinkable (film in a casino: Look out Cal Neva/Circle Bar) over the weekend abound — but here's what we do know:
• Paramount Pictures and MTV Films will release the 3-D film in theaters on Oct. 15, 2010.
• Johnny Knoxville and the boys began shooting in late-January with Dickhouse Production’s Tremaine at the helm and producing alongside Spike Jonze and Knoxville.
• And yes — Pitt is supposed to be in a segment as well... But he's in Vienna now... not Truckee (maybe).
